DIY | Home Decor: El Banquito

This stool is SO old, it used to be my dad's when he was in college, so go figure. It was part of his

drawing table back in the days. He went to school for the Civil Engineering Major, so when I decided

to go to School of Arts, he surprised me one day with the little stool, which was in my gramma's house

all this time. Grandmothers save everything.

Este taburete es tan viejo, solía ser mi padre cuando estaba en la universidad, así que imagínate. Era parte de su mesa 

de dibujo en esa época. Fue a la escuela para estudiar Ingeniería Civil, así que cuando me decidí para ir a la Escuela de
Artes, me sorprendió un día con el taburete; que estuvo en la casa de mi abuela todo este tiempo. Las abuelas guardan

todo.

So I decided to paint it white (of course) and here's pictures of the process and everything.

Así que decidí pintarlo de blanco (claro) y aqui les dejo unas fotitos del proceso y todo eso.  

It was hard for me to paint this because I didnt sanded the wood, I dont know why, I guess I was a

little bit too excited. And the stool had like a varnish coat on top of that. So I had to do 3 coats of

white glossy paint, but Im really happy with the results.

Fue difícil para mí pintar esto porque no lijé la madera, no sé por qué, supongo que estaba un poco emocionada.  

Aparte de todo, el taburete tenía como una capa de barniz. Así que tuve que hacer 3 capas de pintura blanca gloss, 

pero estoy muy contenta con el resultado.
