Review | BB Cream. Korea's #1 Makeup Product

The famous BB Cream short of Blemish Balm Cream is among Asia's
hottest beauty products right now. Its originally created by German
dermatologists  who used to prescribe it to heal laser skin surgery
because it has soothing and skin-regenerating properties

Famous South Korean actresses then began using it for beauty purposes
and it was actually made popular in Korea because of them. The trend that
started in Korea first, spread to Japan then to South East Asia and is now
quickly making its way to Europe and the USA.

Essentially, BB Cream is very similar to tinted moisturizer, the only
difference being that BB Cream contains skin healing and turnover
properties, so it's really good for people who have acne prone or
sensitive skin.

Most BB Creams have anti-aging ingredients in their formulas.
Sometimes, BB Cream has SPF and Whitening properties too so
it's really useable as a makeup base. Best of all, because of it's healing
properties, with consistent and proper use of BB Cream, it is claimed
that it will heal and fade away acne scars and will improve the texture
of your skin.

General Product Features and Benefits

My own review on it.
A couple of months back I purchased my first BB Cream from The
Face Shop, a little Korean makeup boutique chain. Since I'm a little
bit dark for it I had a hard time using it. But I gotta say I love it.
I usually mixed it with a Maybelline BB cream or mineral foundation
to get my exact skin tone. So it feels light weighed, my t-zone doesn't
get oily and it doesn't clog my pores.

Now Im using Aqua Tinted BB Cream also from The Face Shop +
their own "dark color" mixture so you can get your exact skin tone.
(: & I LOVE EM.
