Review | Comparison Naked 2 & 3



The Naked2 Palette was launched in December First 2011, but it was available for purchase 
later on January 2012, it was intended to be a spring season palette. The Naked2 has a mixture 
of nude shades with a charcoal-ish tones and undertones, while the Naked3, launched in 
December 6th, 2013, is well known for their beautiful rose gold under tones and their 
classic looking shades. 

The Naked Palettes by Urban Decay has taken over the internet via tweets, YouTube 
tutorials and reviews, they sell more than one every minute, and all of them remain 
(after years on the market) the beauty industry’s best-selling palettes! 




Shades on Naked 2
    Blackout Blackest black with matte finish 
Booty Call Shimmery cork 
Busted Deep brown with shimmery finish 
Chopper Copper shimmer with silver micro glitter 
Foxy Cream bisque with matte finish 
Half Baked Golden bronze with shimmery finish 
Pistol Light greyish brown with shimmery finish
Snake Bite Dark bronze shimmer with metallic base 
Suspect Pale golden beige with shimmery finish
Tease Creamy pale brown with matte finish

Strange: matte beige with slight pink undertone
Dust: very shimmery, pale peachy-pink with glitters
Burnout: satin pinky-peach
Limit: pink-tan matte
Buzz: satin rose with tiny microglitters
Trick: pinky-copper shimmer with microglitters
Nooner: cool matte taupe
Liar: satin pinky-mauve
Factory: satin warm brown
Mugshot: satin taupe
Darkside: satin plum-taupe with a lot of depth
Blackheart: sooty, matte dark chocolate with copper glitters

Comparison Naked3 to Naked 1 and  2 
Strange is more matte than both Virgin (N1) and Bootycall (N2)
Dust is pinker, lighter, and less beige compared to Sin (N1).
Burnout wasn’t comparable to any previous shades in the Naked palettes.
Limit is much pinker and less brown compared to Tease (N2).
Buzz wasn’t comparable to any previous shades in the Naked palettes.
Trick has a redder tone compared to Chopper (N2) 
Nooner is darker, more mauve/pink compared to Tease (N2).
Liar is cooler-toned, more taupe-like compared against Toasted (N1).
Factory is significantly lighter than both Hustle (N1) and Busted (N2).
Mugshot is darker, not as red-toned and more frosted than Toasted (N1) 
and darker than Sidecar (N1) andYDK (N2).
Darkside isn’t comparable to either Hustle (N1) or Busted (N2).
Blackheart wasn’t comparable to any previous shades in the Naked palettes.
