Life | Mixed models are becoming a thing!

Wow, being in NYC it awesome, Im learning SO MUCH,
about different cultures, languages, life styles, fashion and so much more.

This time Ima write about two girls that... well, Im pretty IMPRESSED.
they are gorgeous looking, smart and part korean (: ♥

First one is Chanel Iman (샤넬 이만 로빈슨)
-November 30, 1989-

She was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in LA, California.
Her mother is half African American, half South Korean,
and her father is African-American.

She signed with Ford's Supermodel in 2006 and her runway debut came in
the Fall/Winter 2006 season. Since then, she has modeled for designers,
including Dolce & Gabbana, Issey Miyake, Marc Jacobs, Valentino, 
Dsquared, Hermès, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, Shiatzy 
Chen, Anna Sui, Diane von Fürstenberg, Vera Wang,Jean Paul Gaultier and 
Stella McCartney.

She has appeared in advertising campaigns for Bottega Veneta, GAP, Victoria's 
Secret Pink, Ralph Lauren, Express, Lord Taylor, HM, DKNY, and United 
Colors of Benetton. She has appeared in editorials for multiples magazines such
as Teen Vogue

Second awesome girls is Amerie (Amerie Mi Marie Rogers)
-January 12, 1980-

Born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, She was born to Korean mother, artist Mi Suk,
and African American father Charles. A few months after she was born, the Rogers
family moved to her mother’s native Korea, where Amerie lived for three years.
Her father Charles was a chief warrant officer, so Amerie traveled to and lived in
many different places, including South Korea, Alaska, Texas, Virginia, and Germany.
